Dr. Somdipto Das graduated from the Manipal University & pursued his specialization training in the subject of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the prestigious King George's Medical University, Lucknow, India.
He was awarded a citation from the Vice-Chancellor of the University for his Best Performance in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 2013. He had undergone advanced surgical training as clinical fellow from the Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai and was the recipient of the Ratan Tata scholarship to pursue advanced training in microvascular reconstruction from the Department of Head and Neck Surgery, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, California, USA.
He was selected by the American Academy of Cranio-maxillofacial Surgeons (AACMFS) for training in Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at the LSU Health Sciences, Shreveport, USA. Dr. Das is a Diplomat to the US National Dental & Medical Boards (Conducted by ABOMS).He serves as a member of both national and internationally acclaimed academic organizations, including AO North America.
